The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) is participating in the twelfth session of the Gulf Municipal Work Conference, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh from 6 to 8 October 2024. Held under the theme “Sustainable Municipal Work:  Aspirations and Challenges,” the conference aims to strengthen cooperation and joint initiatives, as well as promote the exchange of expertise and knowledge among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to improve the quality of municipal services for citizens and residents and to achieve sustainable urban development in the region.

 

REGA's participation includes a dedicated pavilion at the conference, reflecting its role in supporting the growth and sustainability of the real estate sector, exploring development opportunities, exchanging experiences with industry professionals, and discussing future visions on modern trends for building vibrant and contemporary communities that align with national aspirations. REGA also aims to introduce the latest developments in the real estate sector and assess their impact on the industry and their role in attracting investments and investors.  

 

At the Gulf Municipal Work Conference, REGA is showcasing the real estate legislative framework, including the Off-Plan Real Estate Projects Sale and Lease Law and Regulations, the Real Estate Brokerage Law, and the Real Estate Contributions Law. In addition, REGA is highlighting the rights of stakeholders in the real estate sector and the services offered under its regulation, such as the Ejar program, the Real Estate Registry, and the Partners Service Center. 

 

It is worth noting that the twelfth session of the Gulf Municipal Work Conference features leading research and working papers that address current challenges and explore modern trends in developing and sustaining municipal services. The event includes numerous sessions and panel discussions with participation from a distinguished group of government officials, private sector representatives, experts, and specialists from the municipal services sector across the GCC countries.
