His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, will launch the first edition of the Saudi PropTech conference on Monday, 6 November 2023. The event, organized by REGA, will be held over two days at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. The conference will showcase the latest developments in real estate technology, highlight beneficiary experiences, and feature dialogue sessions and workshops. More than 25 speakers from 20 countries will participate, alongside a real estate technology exhibition that includes contributions from both local and international real estate and technology companies and platforms.
REGA emphasized that the main objective of organizing Saudi PropTech is to elevate the level of knowledge in real estate technology within the Saudi market and to promote investment in this growing field. The conference offers a platform for experts and specialists to connect with investors and real estate service providers, bringing together real estate developers, technology firms, and startups to exchange expertise and form partnerships. It also supports the adoption of cutting-edge global technical practices and helps introduce them to the Saudi market.
The conference in its first edition brings together three main themes: the technical real estate ecosystem theme including government entities legislating for the real estate sector and supporting emerging projects, real estate developers, real estate platforms, startups and real estate technology, venture capital companies, and business accelerators, with the real estate applications theme for commercial, residential, tourism and logistics purposes, in addition to the technical solutions theme represented in: property management, facility management, artificial intelligence and data analysis, virtual and augmented reality, financing and mortgage technologies, Internet of Things, and construction technologies.
