The Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, inaugurated the second edition of the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition today, Thursday, 7 December 2023, in Riyadh. The exhibition, held at the Four Seasons Hotel, will run for three days and features the participation of several government entities, real estate development companies, and financing institutions.
This edition of the exhibition continues efforts to increase real estate supply and support citizens in their journey toward homeownership. It offers visitors the opportunity to explore a wide range of residential properties in various sizes and types, with the possibility of directly acquiring residential units and plots of land displayed throughout the event. A total of (60,000) residential units are being showcased.
Ms. Al-Anoud Al-Hamali, Director of the exhibition's organizing company, stated that individuals interested in homeownership can take advantage of exclusive offers provided by participating real estate companies during the exhibition. The event also features various activities and the launch of new real estate projects. Dedicated zones have been set up for contract documentation and financing offers. She further noted that the total market value of the residential units on display across participants’ pavilions exceeds (SAR 7 billion).
Al-Hamali added that the visitor experience at the exhibition includes educational components on real estate regulations and the requirements for practicing real estate activities. She emphasized that this second edition of the Maskan Real Estate Exhibition adds significant value to the Saudi real estate market—one of the largest in the Middle East—by facilitating direct ownership through participating real estate developers.
