The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced the qualification of (27) real estate developers for the Real Estate Contributions activity license, following their successful completion of the training program offered by the Saudi Real Estate Institute and fulfillment of the qualification requirements. This qualification is a prerequisite for applying to license real estate projects under the Real Estate Contributions system, in accordance with the Real Estate Contributions Law and Regulations, which came into effect at the beginning of 2024.

REGA confirmed that obtaining the qualification certificate enables developers to apply for licenses to offer real estate projects as contributions, in line with the system’s conditions and requirements. This contributes to accelerating construction, increasing supply across residential, commercial, investment, and tourism real estate, and supporting the development of vibrant, flexible, and sustainable communities that adhere to environmental and social standards. Pre-licensing qualification also supports REGA’s broader efforts to professionalize the real estate sector, cultivate scientifically and technically competent professionals, and reduce negative or improper practices in the contributions field—ultimately contributing to the establishment of a promising economic and investment environment in the Kingdom.

REGA also announced that the Saudi Real Estate Institute has launched a new series of training courses under the Real Estate Contributions training track. The program consists of three mandatory courses that are essential for obtaining the qualification certificate and serve as a gateway for those interested in practicing Real Estate Contributions activity. These courses equip participants with knowledge of the concept, legal framework, and procedures of real estate contributions and enable comparison with other legal financing methods.

REGA emphasized that the training program is developed according to high standards, both technically and academically, to ensure participants receive comprehensive preparation to engage in this activity and to raise awareness of its related practices. Interested individuals can register for the training courses through the Saudi Real Estate Institute’s official website: https://srei.sa/.
