The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) is participating in the second edition of Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024, taking place from 11 to 14 November at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center - Malham, the capital Riyadh. Held under the theme “Future of Life,” the exhibition serves as a global platform bringing together experts and specialists from more than 50 countries to exchange the latest developments and best practices in the housing and real estate sectors. It also provides a prime venue for exploring promising investment opportunities in major real estate projects, fostering direct engagement between international investors and local developers.
REGA’s official spokesperson, Mr. Taiseer bin Mohammed Al-Mufarrej, confirmed that REGA’s participation in Cityscape Global 2024 aims to showcase the latest developments in the Saudi real estate market, particularly regulatory and legislative reforms that facilitate foreign investment. These reforms have boosted confidence in the local market, spurred sector growth, and opened new pathways for cooperation and strategic partnerships between Saudi real estate companies and their global counterparts. He emphasized that the exhibition offers a vital opportunity for exchanging expertise and advanced real estate technologies in construction and infrastructure development to build vibrant and sustainable communities aligned with future needs. The event supports the broader objectives of the real estate sector by offering a variety of platforms and high-level experiences to present innovations, share knowledge, and introduce cutting-edge technologies—ultimately increasing the diversity of investment opportunities in the Saudi market and attracting greater foreign investment to enhance economic diversification and sustainable development.
During the event, REGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, officially launched the Real Estate Developers Portal within the Real Estate Registry Platform. The portal provides an integrated digital hub designed to facilitate the work of real estate developers and protect property owners’ rights in off-plan sale projects. The platform enables developers to register, issue off-plan sale licenses, display sale certificates, and register ownership under buyers’ names with both flexibility and efficiency. This launch comes as part of REGA’s continued efforts to regulate and develop the real estate sector through legislative and digital reforms. The portal is expected to streamline off-plan project procedures, fully digitize related processes, and support developers throughout their journey—from license registration through project completion—culminating in the issuance of title registration deeds directly through the Real Estate Registry.
It is worth noting that Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024—in its second edition—witnessed the signing of agreements and partnerships valued at more than SAR 180 billion, and featured participation from more than 400 exhibiting entities representing leading global and national companies in real estate investment and development, over 100 institutional investors, and more than 500 international and local industry leaders.
