Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) and General Supervisor of Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024, stated during an introductory meeting with "Cityscape" that the exhibition—recognized as the largest and most prominent real estate event globally—is being hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the second consecutive year. Sponsored by the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and held in partnership between REGA and the Housing Program, one of the initiatives under Vision 2030,  the exhibition will take place from to 14 November at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, under the theme "Future of Life."  The event will bring together more than 400 exhibiting entities from the most important and largest global and national companies in real estate investment and development, over 100 institutional investors, and more than 500 international and local sector leaders.

Engineer Al-Hammad noted that Saudi Arabia’s hosting of this global exhibition reflects the significant real estate renaissance taking place under the framework of Vision 2030, which reinforces the sector's role as a key driver of the national economy. He emphasized that Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024 will contribute to realizing the strategic objectives of the real estate sector by offering diverse platforms and exceptional opportunities to showcase innovations, exchange expertise, and present cutting-edge real estate technologies. These efforts aim to expand investment opportunities in the Saudi market and attract increased foreign investments in support of economic diversification and sustainable development. The success of the previous edition of the exhibition was marked by a transaction volume exceeding SAR 110 billion, including foreign investments of more than USD 19 billion. For the current edition, REGA aspires to surpass that success with growth of over 50%.

Al-Hammad added that the previous achievements have created greater momentum for this year’s edition, which will feature the offering of more than 100,000 housing units with exclusive deals and financing solutions designed to facilitate the journey to homeownership. The event will also highlight unique projects and diverse opportunities presented by strategic partners such as the National Housing Company, NEOM, Roshn, New Murabba, King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD), and Al-Diriyah. This edition will also include the largest direct real estate auction in the Middle East, in collaboration with the Entrustment and Liquidation Center (infath), with an estimated value exceeding SAR 1 billion. Al-Hammad emphasized that the real estate renaissance we are witnessing today is the result of the robust legal infrastructure established through a comprehensive system of real estate legislation—enhancing the strength and credibility of the Saudi real estate market and making it increasingly attractive to both local and international investors.

It is worth noting that Cityscape Global Exhibition 2024 will also offer young investors and startup owners the opportunity to directly connect with real estate developers and investors from Saudi Arabia and abroad. Participants will be able to present their projects and ideas, with a chance to win prizes of up to SAR 1.5 million in the "Roshn Hackathon 2024", a competition designed to foster innovation and creativity in developing technological solutions that address key challenges in the real estate sector using modern technologies.
