The Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) held its twenty-eighth meeting yesterday, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of REGA’s Board of Directors, Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail. The meeting was attended by REGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, along with board members representing both government entities and the private sector.
The Board reviewed several key items on its agenda, beginning with an overview of previously issued decisions and directives. It also examined the progress of the real estate legislation system and the status of real estate title registration operations. Additional topics included matters related to licensing and supervision of real estate activities and the performance of the beneficiary services indicator. The Board further discussed the progress of REGA’s strategic plans and reviewed periodic reports submitted by its affiliated and subsidiary committees. Several agenda items were discussed, and a number of decisions were made accordingly.
