Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Chairman of REGA’s Board of Directors, Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, the Real Estate General Authority (REGA) is participating as a legislative partner in the “Restatex Riyadh Real Estate Exhibition 2024,” held from 18 to 21 February at the Riyadh International Exhibition and Convention Center. The exhibition aims to highlight the real estate sector’s impact in supporting efforts to diversify sources of investment—one of the key objectives of Saudi Vision 2030—and to showcase the progress and developments taking place in the Kingdom’s real estate sector, particularly in multi-use residential and commercial projects and their emerging trends.
During its participation, REGA is presenting the Kingdom’s real estate legislative system, which includes the Real Estate Brokerage Law and the Real Estate Contributions Law, as well as the range of activities regulated by REGA. These include the Off-Plan Sale and Lease Committee (WAFI), the Ejar Program, the Real Estate Unit Subdivision Program, the Mullak Program, the Saudi Real Estate Institute, the Real Estate Registry, and the Partners Service Center. REGA is also taking part in a dialogue session titled “Real Estate Contributions” on the second day of the exhibition.
REGA’s participation in real estate exhibitions and conferences is part of its broader mission to raise awareness about real estate practices and introduce the services and regulatory activities it provides to sector stakeholders and the public.
