The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has announced the launch of real estate registration for (51,293) plots across eight districts in Riyadh City, beginning on 23 June 2024, corresponding to 17 Dhul Hijjah 1445 Hijri, and continuing until 26 September 2024, corresponding to 23 Rabi' Al-Awwal 1446 Hijri.

 REGA clarified that the districts included in this phase of the Real Estate Registry are:  Al-Naseem East, Al-Naseem West, Al-Manar, Al-Salam, Al-Rayyan, Al-Rawabi, Al-Rabwah, and Jarir. Property registration in these districts is available through the electronic Real Estate Registry Platform or by visiting designated service centers. REGA confirmed that the selection of these districts was based on specific criteria and that additional districts and regions eligible for registration across the Kingdom will be announced in future phases.  With this announcement, the number of districts covered by the Real Estate Registry in Riyadh City has reached (77), comprising a total of (9,671,191) real estate plots.
 REGA called on property owners in the designated districts to verify the validity of their title deeds and ensure they meet all necessary requirements—including having an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice that contains complete ownership data—and proceed to register their properties on the
Real Estate Registry Platform. Beneficiaries may contact the customer service center at 199002 for inquiries regarding registration steps and procedures. It is worth noting that the Real Estate Registry is a system designed to document real estate based on the individual property unit. It serves as the foundation for registering ownership, transactions, and other real estate rights by issuing an official document that includes a property number, the owner's name, and detailed descriptions of the property, including type, geographic coordinates linked to geospatial data, area, boundaries, dimensions, neighboring properties, associated rights and obligations, and any changes or transactions affecting the property, along with the rights arising from them.
