The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has announced the start of real estate title registration operations for (30,811) real estate plots across (11) districts in the Al-Qassim Region. The registration period will begin on 29 September 2024, corresponding to 26 Rabi' Al-Awwal 1446 Hijri, and will continue until 2 January 2025, corresponding to 2 Rajab 1446 Hijri.
REGA clarified that the districts included in this phase are: (Al-Nahdah District, Al-Rawdah District, Al-Rayyan District, Al-Iskan District, Al-Falah District, Al-Nakheel District, Al-Zarqa District, Al-Manar District, Al-Hamr North District, Al-Hamr South District, and Al-Ulya District). REGA explained that these districts were selected based on specific criteria, and additional regions and districts across the Kingdom will be announced in future phases.
REGA indicated that property registration in these areas will be available through the electronic Real Estate Registry Platform (https://rer.sa/ /) or at designated service centers. Registration requires a valid title deed that meets all legal requirements to complete the process. Property owners in the listed districts are encouraged to verify their title deeds and ensure all necessary documentation is prepared ahead of the registration period. Starting from the specified registration date, a "Property Number" and a Title Registration Deed will be issued for each registered real estate unit. The Title Registration Deed will include detailed property data, descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, all linked to precise geospatial information. This system aims to strengthen infrastructure and support the sustainability of the real estate sector.
