The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has announced the launch of real estate title registration operations for (370) properties across (4) neighborhoods in Madinah, starting on 26 December 2024, corresponding to 25 Jumada Al-Thani 1446 Hijri, and continuing until 31 March 2025, corresponding to 2 Shawwal 1446 Hijri.
REGA stated that the neighborhoods included in this phase of the Real Estate Registry are: (The Prophet’s Mosque area, part of Bida’a District, part of Al-Naqa District, and Al-Manakha District). REGA explained that these neighborhoods were selected based on specific criteria and added that it will continue to announce additional regions, governorates, and neighborhoods that will be included in future real estate title registration phases across the Kingdom.
REGA further noted that the initial registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the Real Estate Registry electronic platform at https://rer.sa/ or through designated service centers. Title registration requires a valid title deed that complies with legal requirements to complete the process. Property owners in the designated regions are urged to verify their title deeds and ensure all necessary conditions are met in preparation for registration. For inquiries, property owners may contact REGA’s official platforms or the customer service center at 199002.
Starting from the specified registration date, a "Property Number" and a Title Registration Deed will be issued for each registered real estate unit. The Title Registration Deed will include detailed property data, descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, all linked to precise geospatial information. This system aims to strengthen infrastructure and support the sustainability of the real estate sector. The Law of Real Estate Registration is designed to enhance the reliability and transparency of the real estate sector.
