Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA), REGA and Mukatafah Commercial Services Company signed a joint cooperation agreement today, Monday, 6 November 2023, in the presence of Engineer Abdullah bin Saud Al-Hammad, Chief Executive Officer of REGA, and His Royal Highness Prince Waleed bin Nasser Al Saud, Chief Executive Officer of Mukatafah.
The agreement aims to organize workshops targeting entities that benefit from real estate legislation, with the goal of raising awareness about real estate regulations. It also seeks to empower real estate projects in the fields of property and facility management by helping them develop their procedures in line with modern trends in the real estate market. Additionally, the two parties will collaborate to support the initiatives and priorities outlined in the comprehensive strategy for the real estate sector.
The agreement was signed during the first edition of the Saudi PropTech conference, organized by REGA in the capital, Riyadh.
This cooperation agreement falls within the framework of REGA’s quality partnerships with both government and private sectors, aimed at activating REGA’s role in overseeing the non-governmental real estate sector, enhancing its reliability and appeal, and advancing the key pillars of the comprehensive real estate sector strategy.
