The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) Board of Directors held its twenty-fifth meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of REGA's Board of Directors, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Minister, Engineer Abdullah Al-Budair, REGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hammad, and board members representing both government entities and the private sector.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed previously issued decisions and directives, approved REGA’s targets for 2024, and discussed the governance mechanisms for implementing the comprehensive real estate sector strategy. The Board also assessed the progress made in developing the real estate legislation system, the advancements in the real estate title registration infrastructure, and the regions already announced, as well as upcoming initiatives scheduled for launch in 2024. Additionally, the Board examined major developments related to real estate activities, the supervisory work conducted by REGA, and the ongoing implementation journey of the Real Estate Contributions Law.
