The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has called on property owners in 48 districts across Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah to register their properties in the Real Estate Registry, starting today, Sunday, 24 December 2023, corresponding to 11 Jumada Al-Akhirah 1445 Hijri, and continuing until 28 March 2024, corresponding to 18 Ramadan 1445 Hijri.
REGA confirmed that first-time property registration in these districts must be completed through the Real Estate Registry electronic platform at https://rer.sa/rer-services-ar حيث. Property owners—whether of residential, commercial, or other property types—must submit an initial title registration application along with the necessary supporting documents, including an electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice (with complete ownership data), a valid ID, and a power of attorney if the applicant is acting on behalf of the owner.
REGA clarified that this is the third phase in the Real Estate Registry implementation journey and covers 46 districts in Riyadh City, including: King Salman District, Al-Basateen, Al-Tadamun, Al-Zaher, Al-Risala, Al-Raya, Al-Ula, Al-Mashriq, Al-Khair, Al-Arid, Al-Narjis, Al-Qairawan, Al-Yasmin, Al-Malqa, Al-Sahafa, Al-Nada, Al-Rabee, Al-Aqeeq, Hittin, Al-Nakheel, Al-Muhammadiyah, King Fahd, Al-Wurud, Al-Rahmaniyah, Al-Raed, King Saud University, Al-Mursalat, Al-Maghrazat, Al-Nuzha, King Abdullah, Al-Rawda, Al-Quds, Al-Hamra, Al-Shuhada, Qurtuba, Imam Mohammed bin Saud University, Al-Andalus, King Faisal, Ghirnata, Al-Nahda, Al-Khaleej, Ishbiliya, Al-Yarmouk, Al-Munsiya, Al-Maizila, and Al-Qadisiya, in addition to Al-Shu'la District in Dammam and Al-Aqool District in Madinah. This phase includes more than 368,565 real estate plots in the three cities, and the real estate registries that begin issuing today in these districts include property data and descriptions, its condition and all related rights, obligations and real estate transactions linked to geospatial information through surveying and geographic coordinates of properties completed during the past period.
REGA explained that the "Real Estate Registry" company has completed its preparations for registering properties through the electronic platform or beneficiaries visiting "Real Estate Registry Beneficiaries Service Centers" at "Royal Mall" in Riyadh City, "Economic Gateway" in Dammam City, and "Customer Service Center Branch for Madinah Municipality at Aliya Center" in Madinah during all working days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, where these centers have been equipped to provide support to beneficiaries in registering their properties and helping them use electronic services through self-service devices available at the center, in addition to the unified inquiry number 199002 designated to answer any inquiries or follow up on applications.
