Several real estate agreements and initiatives were signed today on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Global Real Estate Leaders Summit, held under the sponsorship of the Real Estate General Authority (REGA).
The agreements and initiatives focused on establishing strategic global partnerships aimed at enhancing the sustainability of the sector and increasing its investment appeal across all segments. Among the key announcements was the establishment of the General Secretariat office of the International Real Estate Federation in Riyadh, which will work to strengthen cooperation between the Federation and relevant authorities and entities, while providing both technical and administrative support to its affiliated groups. Additionally, the "Global Real Estate Media Center" was launched in Riyadh to serve as a multilingual media hub, enabling the rapid dissemination of real estate-related messages to a global audience and enhancing content monitoring and analysis.
The launch of the Real Estate Federation’s “Connect” platform was also announced. This platform serves as a global network for real estate professionals, fostering partnerships between local and international practitioners and facilitating access to global markets and expert networks. Moreover, a partnership initiative with Oxford University was introduced to offer specialized, accredited programs tailored to the evolving real estate sector. These include the Real Estate Investment and Development Program and the Real Estate Leaders Program, both of which aim to reinforce principles of sustainability and quality of life.
To promote excellence and competitiveness within the sector, the launch of the Global Real Estate Excellence Award in Saudi Arabia was announced. This award aims to elevate industry standards by recognizing innovation and best practices. In addition, the new Global Real Estate Advisory Reports and Indicators service was launched to support the global charter “Building Better Lives,” in partnership with international organizations such as the United Nations Human Settlements Programme. This initiative promotes collaboration on issues like environmental protection, smart cities, green buildings, and other global priorities.
Notably, an initiative to adopt Arabic as one of the accredited languages of the International Real Estate Federation was launched. It was also announced that the Philip Kotler Impact Academy for Real Estate Marketing will open in Saudi Arabia, offering the world’s first specialized marketing programs dedicated to the real estate sector.
It is worth noting that this 42nd session of the Global Real Estate Leaders Summit is being hosted in Riyadh for the first time in the Middle East and Africa region, following a competitive selection process.
