The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) Board of Directors held its twenty-fourth meeting, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing and Chairman of the Board, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Engineer Abdullah Al-Budair, REGA’s Chief Executive Officer, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hammad, as well as board members representing various government entities and the private sector.
At the outset of the meeting, the Board reviewed the decisions and directives it had previously issued. It also examined a summary of real estate title registration activities in Al-Falah District, along with the implementation plan for the first registration phase in targeted regions across the rest of the Kingdom’s cities and regions.
The Board further reviewed key updates on the real estate legislative framework, including developments in the Real Estate Brokerage Law, the implementation plan for the Real Estate Contributions Law, and progress in the REGA’s governance initiatives.
Additionally, the Board reviewed the comprehensive strategic report for the real estate sector and assessed the level of progress toward achieving REGA’s 2023 targets.
