REGA added that real estate registration relies on accurate geospatial data and modern technologies and requires an electronic title deed to complete the process. It noted that property owners who have not met the registration requirements because they lack an electronic deed can submit a paper application through the Real Estate Register's electronic platform. This service allows them to explain why they failed to register their properties during the announced period. The initiative aims to preserve rights and enhance flexibility in real estate dealings, thereby achieving the strategic objectives of the real estate system.
REGA affirmed that all real estate zones and districts targeted for real estate registration are announced through REGA‘s official platforms and channels and those of the Real Estate Register before registration begins, with a separate notice about the approaching end of the registration period. It highlighted the importance for property owners to follow these official announcements, as registration results in the issuance of a 'property number' and a modern title deed that includes the property's precise geographical location and data. This process strengthens ownership documentation, protects rights, and contributes to the development and sustainability of the real estate sector..
REGA urges property owners within the announced districts to promptly register their properties or submit paper applications before the grace period ends via the Real Estate Register's electronic platform at https://rer.sa For technical support and inquiries, owners can contact the unified number 199002 or use the official mobile application.
