The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) has called on property owners in the districts of (Al-Ghadeer, Al-Nafl, Al-Wadi, Al-Muruj, Al-Masayf, Al-Ta'awun, and Al-Izdihar) in Riyadh City to promptly register their properties in the "Real Estate Registry," with the registration deadline set for next Monday, 17 Rajab 1445 Hijri, corresponding to 29 January 2024.
REGA explained that the first registration of properties in this phase must be completed through the electronic Real Estate Registry platform. Property owners—whether of residential, commercial, or other property types—in these seven districts are required to submit a first-time title registration application, accompanied by the necessary supporting documents. These include an electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice that fully meets ownership criteria, a valid identification document, and a power of attorney if the application is submitted by an agent.
REGA confirmed that registration activities under the Real Estate Registry are ongoing in (54) districts across Riyadh City, as well as in one district each in Dammam and Madinah, with the overall deadline set for 18 Ramadan 1445 Hijri, corresponding to 28 March 2024. The Riyadh districts include: (King Salman District, Al-Basatin, Al-Tadamun, Al-Zaher, Al-Risalah, Al-Rayah, Al-Ula, Al-Mashriq, Al-Khair, Al-Arid, Al-Narjis, Al-Qairawan, Al-Yasmin, Al-Malqa, Al-Sahafah, Al-Nada, Al-Rabee’, Al-Aqeeq, Hittin, Al-Nakheel, Al-Muhammadiyah, King Fahd, Al-Rabee’, Al-Rahmaniyah, Al-Ra’ed, King Saud University, Al-Mursalat, Al-Mugharzat, Al-Nuzhah, King Abdullah, Al-Rawdah, Al-Quds, Al-Hamra, Al-Shuhada, Qurtubah, Imam Mohammed bin Saud University, Al-Andalus, King Faisal, Granada, Al-Nahdah, Al-Khaleej, Ishbiliya, Al-Yarmuk, Al-Munsiyah, Al-Ma’izilah, Al-Qadisiyah, Al-Huzm, Al-Zahrah, Al-Suwaidiyah West, Al-Uraija, Al-Uraija West, Al-Awali, Haqeebat Zahr, and Laban), in addition to Al-Shu’lah District in Dammam City and Al-Aqoul District in Madinah.
REGA noted that property owners in these districts can complete their registration either through the Real Estate Registry platform or by visiting designated "Registry Beneficiaries Service Centers" located at Royal Mall in Riyadh, the "Economic Gateway" in Dammam, and the "Madinah Municipality Customer Service Center" in Madinah. These centers operate on working days from 9 AM to 5 PM and are fully equipped to assist beneficiaries with the registration process, including the use of self-service kiosks. Beneficiaries can also contact the unified inquiry number 199002 for assistance or to follow up on their applications. To streamline the process, REGA encouraged booking appointments in advance via the official Real Estate Registry website.
REGA emphasized that the Real Estate Registry is a comprehensive system for documenting properties, using the real estate unit as the core reference for recording ownership, transactions, and other rights related to the property. Each registered property is issued a document that includes a unique property number, the owner's name, and a full description of the property’s type, geographic location with coordinates linked to geospatial data, area, boundaries, dimensions, neighboring properties, associated rights and obligations, as well as any changes, transactions, or rights arising from it.
