The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced the launch of Real Estate Registry operations today, Sunday, 14 Rabi' Al-Thani 1445 Hijri, corresponding to 29 October 2023, in seven districts of Riyadh City: (Al-Ghadeer, Al-Nafl, Al-Wadi, Al-Murooj, Al-Masayef, Al-Taawun, and Al-Izdihaar). This marks the second region to benefit from the Real Estate Registry, with the registration period continuing until 17 Rajab 1445 Hijri, corresponding to 29 January 2024.
REGA confirmed that initial property registration is free of charge and can be completed through the Real Estate Registry’s electronic platform: https://rer.sa/rer-services-ar . Owners of residential, commercial, and other types of properties in the listed districts are required to submit their first title registration application along with supporting documents, including an electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice that meets ownership conditions, a valid ID, and a power of attorney if the applicant is acting on behalf of the property owner.
REGA indicated that the number of eligible properties in these districts exceeds (22,000). The registries launched today include detailed information such as property data, descriptions, conditions, and all associated rights, obligations, and real estate transactions. This data is linked to geospatial information through surveying and geographic coordinates of the properties, which were completed during the preceding period.
REGA also noted that the "Real Estate Registry Beneficiaries Service Center" located in Royal Mall, Riyadh, and operated by the Real Estate Registry Company, is open on all working days from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The center is equipped to assist beneficiaries in registering their properties and using the electronic services through on-site self-service devices. Additionally, a unified support number (199002) is available to respond to inquiries and provide application follow-up services.
