The Real Estate General Authority (REGA) announced today, Sunday, 21 Ramadan 1445 Hijri, corresponding to 31 March 2024, the launch of property registration for five beneficiary districts in Riyadh City under the fourth phase of the Real Estate Registry initiative. The districts included are Al-Hada District, part of Sidrah District, part of Al-Shu'lah District, part of Al-Fursan District, and Al-Nukhbah District. Registration will continue until the end of 4 July 2024, corresponding to Dhul Hijjah 1445 Hijri. REGA clarified that the number of real estate plots within these districts amounts to (25,700) plots, covering a total area of (58.14) square kilometers. The first registration of properties in these districts can be completed either through the electronic Real Estate Registry Platform or via designated service centers.
REGA urged property owners in the districts benefiting from the Real Estate Registry to verify the validity of their title deeds and ensure that all required conditions are met. This includes possessing an updated electronic deed issued by the Ministry of Justice that contains complete data and fulfills the necessary ownership requirements. Property owners may contact the customer service center at (199002) to inquire about the procedures and required steps.
It is worth noting that the National Real Estate Registration Services Company (Real Estate Registry RER) is responsible for establishing and managing the Real Estate Registry in the Kingdom. It carries out this role through the use of advanced technologies, geospatial data, and a fully integrated digital platform. This platform enhances transparency and trust in real estate services and data. Starting from the designated registration date, each registered real estate unit will be assigned a unique “property number” and issued a new title registration deed. This deed will include detailed property data, descriptions, condition, associated rights and obligations, and a record of all real estate transactions linked to it. All information will be connected to geospatial data through land surveying and geographical coordinates, forming the legal foundation for the registration of ownership and real estate rights. This initiative supports sustainability and reinforces the real estate sector and its primary enablers.
